Internships
Our primary goal for summer staff is to provide job experience needed for future employment, leading to the program becoming a model for other counties. We provide three different internship opportunities.

Park Ranger interns help with grounds-keeping, maintenance of equipment and park and campground facilities. They also learn public relations skills while interacting with park visitors and campers.

The Natural Areas Management interns are trained to safely operate and maintain a variety of equipment. They perform a number of job duties, including timber thinning, brush cutting, invasive species management, trail maintenance and prescribed burning.

Environmental Education interns assist in the development and implementation of environmental education programming. Job responsibilities include providing programs and field trips for a variety of audiences, assisting in the development of programs and promotion of PCCB programs.

Applications are available in January.
