Hancock, IA - Join us at Botna Bend park as we kick off a new program aimed at connecting families with nature on Sunday, February 25th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

During this program families will receive the tools & training to embark on outdoor adventures of the own and make community connections to individuals, services, and groups aimed at assisting families.

Time spent outdoors and in the community is shown to improve the health, well-being, & quality of life for all people. This program is aimed at providing access and the beginning tools needed for families to get outdoors and get connected. Transportation from Council Bluffs to Botna Bend Park is provided for all registered families.

Pre-registration is required for all families planning to attend. For more information or to register please contact Rene Stroud, Pottawattamie County Naturalist at 712-242-1197 or by email at rene.stroud@pottcounty-ia.gov.
