11/13/2012 - Council Bluffs Nonpareil - Raptors soar at Hitchcock Raptors keep bird, mice, rabbit and other varmint populations down. But the majestic birds usually steer clear of small dogs or cats. So rest easy, pet owners. This was among the information members of Raptor Recovery Nebraska imparted on attendees at the annual Hitchcock Nature Center Eagle Migration event on Saturday.
