PLAY AGAIN with Pottawattamie Conservation

Join Pottawattamie Conservation staff for an online viewing of the humorous & informative documentary “Play Again” on Tuesday, May 19th at 6:00 p.m. CST. Following the film our our staff will lead a discussion of the film & explore the consequences of a childhood lived without nature & what we can do to
Technology is changing our world faster than ever before & we are facing the reality of a generation of children who will have spent more time online than in the great outdoors. Technology has improved our lives in so many ways but what have we started to lose in our transition to a digital life?
“Play Again” follows six average teenagers who are unplugged from their technology & taken on their very first wilderness adventure. Through the voices of children and leading experts “Play Again” investigates the consequences of a childhood removed from nature and encourages action for a sustainable future.

This film aims to open a dialogue between children, parents & educators & is recommended for ages 10 & over due to video game violence. For more information & some great resources check out their website online at www.playagainfilm.com
